The 2007-2008 school year has been a busy one for the Instructional Systems program. We are in a period of transition, with a series of comings, goings, new events, and other changes. At the same time, we’ve had the opportunity to work with many of our old friends and familiar faces and to uphold many of our Instructional Systems traditions. In this column, I’ll fill you in on the details.

The fourth annual Instructional Systems Alumni Advisory Council meeting was held on April 4th, 2008, at the FSU’s University Center Club. The mission of this Council is to improve the quality of the Instructional Systems program and the services that the program provides to students, alumni, and other constituencies.

The Council consists of more than 20 alumni. Each alumni serves on one of four committees for a three year term. The committees are: (1) Alumni Relations, (2) Job Placement, (3) Student Recruitment, and (4) Fundraising.
